Credo Bank acquired 100% of shares of FINCA Bank Georgia - another successful transaction completed by BLC team. We represented FINCA Microfinance Cooperatief U.A. – the seller in the transaction that marked significant development on the market of financial services for micro, small and medium entrepreneurs and created great opportunity for achieving synergy effect. As a result of acquisition, Credo Bank becomes No. 6th bank in Georgia by total assets and gross loan portfolio.
The transaction was handled by Giorgi Batlidze, Partner of BLC and Rusa Tchkuaseli, head of M&A, Banking and Finance practice.
