Tamta Ivanishvili and Lasha Uplisashvili, Partners at BLC Law Office participated as panelists at the Georgia Energy Exhibition and Forum 2024, discussing the current challenges and prospects of wind energy. Notably, BLC was the only Georgian law firm speaking at this event.
GEEF took place on July 4-5, organized by Expo Georgia, GREDA and Invest in Network. The main focus of the forum was the introduction of Georgia's pivotal role as a renewable energy corridor.
Other topics discussed included electricity management systems, mechanisms to support renewable energy, funding opportunities, innovating energy storage solutions, optimizing wind energy and hydropower potential, liberalization of the electricity market and Georgia’s prospects as the regional green energy hub.
