Giorgi Leluashvili

Giorgi Leluashvili currently holds the position of an Associate at BLC. His expertise spans various legal domains, including but not limited to corporate law, contract law, insolvency law, labor law, financial markets law, virtual assets regulations, as well as commercial arbitration and litigation. He is a member of the Georgian Bar Association as a general specialization attorney since April 2024.

Giorgi started his career in 2021 in another top-tier law firm in Georgia, where his performance led to a swift double-promotion to the role of junior associate in 2022. After joining the BLC team in 2023 as a Junior Associate, he has been promoted to the position of an Associate since July 2024. He is actively engaged in diverse legal research, notably co-authoring a paper on the electoral system of the Georgian Parliament and contributing as a research assistant in drafting the Labor Code Commentary.

Giorgi holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Free University of Tbilisi and is currently pursuing an LL.M. in business law, with additional concentration in tax law at the same university.

During his studies, Giorgi successfully participated in different conferences and legal projects. His notable achievements include participation in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition twice – in 2023, where Giorgi represented Georgia in the Washington DC rounds of the competition after his team’s victory in national rounds; and in 2021, where his team achieved the most success among teams from the Caucasus region. His other achievements include reaching a semi-final in the Central and Eastern European Moot Court Competition (CEEMC) 2022 in Budapest, where his team’s written pleadings were recognized as the best in the competition.

Giorgi Leluashvili’s multifaceted background, coupled with his dedication to continuous learning, positions him as a valuable asset in the legal field.
