Marina Chochishvili

Marina Chochishvili joined BLC in 2023 as an Associate. Marina’s practice area includes Contracts, Commercial, Corporate Law, Banking and Securities.

Prior to joining BLC she served as a Compliance Officer in the leading commercial bank in Georgia – Bank of Georgia. Marina has an extensive experience in banking industry standards, regulatory compliance and risk management. Her working experience also includes working as an attorney in Caucasus Auto Import, intern at a local law firm and the Competition Agency of Georgia.

Apart from her legal practice since 2018, Marina has successfully participated in various conferences, legal projects and competitions. She has also published an article in ADR Yearbook regarding enforcement of mediation settlement in Georgia. She graduated from the Free University of Tbilisi and Tbilisi State University with honors. Her master’s thesis was about legal challenges of third-party funding of arbitration on both international and national level.
