Elene Kakulia joined BLC in 2024 as an intern and was shortly promoted to the position of Paralegal. Her responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting key documents for both litigation and arbitration cases, and assisting with the preparation of pleadings, motions, and other legal filings, primarily in civil and corporate law matters.
Elene is currently a 4th-year law student at Tbilisi State University and has completed an exchange year at Universidade da Coruña. She has participated in several prestigious international moot court competitions. Notably, she competed in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, where she received an honorable award for best team orals after her team became national champions at the Tbilisi Pre-Moot. Additionally, she participated in the International Client Consultation Competition in Maastricht, securing first place in the national rounds.
Elene is also part of the TSU team for the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. In 2024, she completed the CopyrightX program, a collaboration between Harvard Law School and Tbilisi State University, further expanding her expertise in intellectual property law.
