On June 24, 2010, final round of the Conference in EU Law and Politics, supported by BLC, was held in Tbilisi State University, where the authors of best research papers were given the opportunity to present their work in front of the panel of professors and the audience. The Conference aimed to help students make their first steps in understanding the EU integration, politics and law, as well as to help them improve skills necessary for scientific research.
Apart from students and professors, the Rector of Tbilisi State University, Mr. Giorgi Khubua, representatives of European Commission and different organizations attended the Conference.The Conference was held under Auspices of European Law Students Association and was supported by European Commission, Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University Self Government, Students for Human Rights, ELSA Tbilisi and BLC Law Office.
Andria Nadiradze, the paralegal of our law firm, was the head organizer of the Conference, while Natalia Merabishvili, who holds two LLM in European Law, was a member of evaluating commission. BLC Law Office will continue supporting student initiatives and legal education in Georgia.
