“Business Leaders Drive for Change” – On December 5, UN Women hosted an annual business conference in support of women's empowerment and gender equality.
The conference was attended by the companies actively supporting women’s empowerment. The event was also attended by the new organizations, BLC Law Office among them who recently joined the Global Initiative on the Women’s Empowerment Principles and began to take specific actions in this respect.
The event ended with signing of the Women’s Empowerment Principles.
The conference was held under the UN Women project "A Joint Action for Women's Economic Empowerment in Georgia (JAWE)" sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.
