JSC Georgia Global Utilities, a company owned by the investment holding Georgia Capital PLC, issued Green Bonds in the amount of USD 250 million at the Irish Stock Exchange. Bonds were rated at B+ (stable) by Fitch and B (positive) by S&P.
It is noteworthy that this is the first placement of Green Bonds from Georgia. The leading manager of the transaction was J.P. Morgan with its co-manager TBC Capital. Legal advisors to the Issuer were Baker & McKenzie LLP and BLC Law Office. Partners Tamta Ivanishvili and Giorgi Batlidze lead BLC team working on this transaction.
