Giorgi Alpenidze currently holds the position of a Junior Associate at BLC. His practice covers a wide spectrum of legal matters, including insolvency law, energy law, civil and administrative litigation, and contract law.  Giorgi began his legal career in 2021 at leading Georgian NGOs, including the Human Rights Center and the Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association. At the Human Rights Center, he contributed to strategic litigation by preparing applications and written observations for cases to the European Court of Human Rights, provided direct legal assistance to beneficiaries, and participated in domestic court proceedings.

In 2022–2023 he continued developing his litigation and legal drafting skills within the Insolvency Practitioner’s team, working on diverse Insolvency cases.

In parallel, Giorgi gained valuable experience in the energy sector as a Regulatory Specialist at Energo-Pro Georgia. As a Regulatory Specialist, he was involved in monitoring legislative developments in energy sector, preparing regulatory submissions, drafting internal legal acts, and representing company interests in the National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission.

Giorgi is a member of the Georgian Bar Association as a civil and administrative specialization attorney since April 2024. 

Giorgi holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Law  from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
